This policy applies to all information collected or submitted using Reinke's RDP Field Survey app.
The app records data on your current location along with free-text notes that you may enter such as client names, field references, feature identifiers, etc.
Your location is only recorded when you specifically choose to do this within the app.
Recorded locations and notes are stored on your device and are not automatically sent to Reinke or elsewhere.
If you choose to share recorded location data and notes, in the form of a RAP file, then this is sent directly to the recipient, and cannot be accessed by Reinke in transit.
We collect anonymous usage data such as your country, device model, language and app version. This data is sent to Microsoft's Visual Studio App Center service where it can be accessed by us.
We automatically collect additional data if the app crashes, and these crash reports are also sent to Microsoft's Visual Studio App Center service, where they can be accessed by us. Crash reports are normally anonymous but could, in some cases, contain location data and notes that you entered into the app.
We use crash reports to assist us in improving the quality of the app.
We do not share personal information with outside parties. We may share anonymous, aggregate statistics on app usage with outside parties.
We may disclose your information, if we hold it, in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property.
We implement a variety of security measures to help keep your information secure. For instance, all RAP files are encrypted, and can only be opened by other users of the app or other Reinke software.
Crash reports and analytics data cannot be accessed, changed or deleted as they do not contain enough detail to practically identify you or your device.
Information may be processed, stored, and used outside of the country in which you are located. Data privacy laws vary across jurisdictions, and different laws may be applicable to your data depending on where it is processed, stored, or used.
